Core i7 not likely to take hold until 2H09 11/20/2008
Due to the impact of the dropping global economy affecting consumers' willingness to upgrade their PCs, demand for Core i7 is unlikely to pickup until the third quarter in 2009.
Taiwan DRAM industry pushing for government bail out 11/20/2008
The government is mulling whether efforts should be made to salvage Taiwan's DRAM industry, whose major makers have been making huge losses since 2007. For the first three quarters of 2008, combined losses amounted to NT$90.83 billion (US$2.73 billion), and losses are expected continue.

Jerry Yang (Yahoo) stepping down 11/18/2008
The change in command announced Monday won't be completed until Yahoo finds his replacement. The Sunnyvale-based company said it is interviewing candidates inside and outside Yahoo in a search led by its chairman, Roy Bostock, and the executive recruitment firm Heidrick & Struggles.
